Tomorrow, Baghdad will host the Iraq International Transport and Airports Exhibition, with the participation of 20 countries.
The Iraq International Exhibition for Transport, Airports, and Logistics Services will kick off tomorrow, Wednesday, at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds, with the participation of 20 countries and 100 companies.

Mustafa Al-Ani, Director of the General Company for Exhibitions and Commercial Services at the Ministry of Trade, told the Official Gazette that the government is strongly supporting the country's international transport sector, whether by air, land, or sea, after it suffered from neglect and a failure to keep pace with international developments in this important sector.

He added that, in light of this, the ministry will launch the Iraq International Exhibition for Transport, Airports, and Logistics Services tomorrow, Wednesday, at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds for three days, with the active participation of 20 countries and 100 local, Arab, and international companies involved in the airport and international transport sectors.

Al-Ani explained that the exhibition, the first of its kind in the country, will contribute to strengthening international cooperation, attracting investment, and supporting development efforts in the transport sector. It will also include presentations and workshops with companies on air, land, and sea transport, and how to deal with predictable risks or emergencies.

He added that countries and companies will showcase the latest global developments in airport operations and infrastructure for implementation on the ground, whether through the private sector and investment approach, which is the modern way of raising the profile of vital sectors and issues, or through other means. This will be an opportunity to attract international companies to develop this sector.
