Commission: A party or candidate has the right to influence voters to win their votes.
The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) confirmed on Monday that a party or candidate has the right to influence voters within legal frameworks. The commission's legal advisor, Hassan Salman, said in a statement monitored by the Iraq Times Agency: "A competing party, coalition, or individual candidate has the right to attempt to influence voters as much as possible to win their votes, provided that matters are legal and objective."
