Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari confirmed that polling centers are fully secured.
Al-Shammari stated that "the special voting process in Baghdad and all governorates is proceeding smoothly, with personnel being transported to polling centers in successive groups under the organized supervision of officers, commanders, and officers."
He added that "the security situation around all polling centers is good and fully secured, and everything is proceeding as planned," noting that "there is effective coordination between the security forces, officers, and those responsible for protecting the centers and the electoral commission."
