Arab Organization: The Iraqi Commission applies international standards in organizing the vote
The Arab Network for Electoral Management Bodies (ARMBO) praised the high level of transparency and professionalism in organizing Iraq's special voting process on Monday.

The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) said in a statement, reported by Iraq Times Agency, that "the Chairman and members of the Board of Commissioners received a delegation from ARMBO, headed by Musa Al-Maayta, and in the presence of a team from the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), at the Commission's headquarters."

The statement added, "The Chairman of the Board, Judge Omar Ahmed Mohammed, welcomed the delegation, commending ARMBO's role in strengthening cooperation among the electoral bodies affiliated with the organization. He emphasized the Commission's commitment to benefiting from Arab and international expertise to ensure fair and transparent elections."

The statement continued, "The delegation praised the high level of transparency and professionalism it witnessed in organizing the voting process following a field visit yesterday to several polling centers designated for special voting for members of the security forces and internally displaced persons. They affirmed that these procedures reflect the Commission's commitment to international standards and contribute to enhancing confidence in the electoral process." The statement concluded, "This visit comes within the framework of exchanging experiences and learning about international standards in managing electoral operations and monitoring the Iraqi House of Representatives elections tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11, 2025."
