The commission: No final approval before resolving electoral complaints and appeals.
The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) revealed on Friday the mechanism for resolving complaints and appeals before certifying the final list of winners.

Nibras Abu Souda, Deputy Spokesperson for the IHEC, stated that "the process of allocating seats and naming winners involves several stages before the final results are announced."

She explained that "the Commission first works to resolve submitted complaints, in addition to addressing the issue of polling stations that did not transmit their results within the first six hours after the closing of the ballot boxes, which were supposed to arrive via the designated transmission medium."

She noted that "the announced preliminary results are subject to appeals, and these appeals are then handled and resolved by the Commission and the Electoral Judicial Authority." She clarified that "the Judicial Authority then announces the complete resolution of all appeals, and its notification serves as official notification to the Commission of the completion of this stage." She added that "the commission then sends the final results to the Federal Supreme Court for ratification," noting that "the results submitted to the court include the names of the winners and specify their number, which is 329 deputies who occupy the seats of the House of Representatives," pointing out that "the matter is not related to a specific time period, but rather to steps that must be completed."
