The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced today the transfer of a new group of 1,862 beneficiaries from the social protection system to the Ministry of Interior, as part of the government's plan to integrate those capable of working into state institutions.
Minister of Labor Ahmed al-Asadi stated that this group is part of an ongoing effort to provide job opportunities for those able to work, explaining that the ministry continues to redistribute social protection beneficiaries among ministries and the private sector according to need.
For his part, the head of the Social Protection Authority, Ahmed al-Moussawi, clarified that the technical and administrative procedures for the new group have been completed. This group includes 206 beneficiaries who will be integrated into the local police force, and more than 1,600 beneficiaries who will be transferred to the Civil Defense Directorate.
Al-Moussawi indicated that the Social Protection Authority has transferred more than 65,000 beneficiaries to various ministries to date, emphasizing that the transfer process will continue gradually according to the government's plan to strengthen the labor market and support institutions with graduates and unemployed individuals capable of performing their duties.
