British and Lebanese media reports have revealed a romantic relationship between Morgan Ortagus, the US Deputy Special Envoy to the Middle East, and a Lebanese businessman, following her separation from her husband last November.
The British newspaper, the Daily Mail, confirmed that Ortagus separated from her husband, Jonathan Weinberger, last November, according to official documents submitted as part of their ongoing divorce proceedings. Sources indicated that Ortagus, 43, known for her media presence and hawkish foreign policy stances, began a relationship after the separation with Lebanese businessman and banker Anton Sehnaoui, 53, who heads several banks in Lebanon, Cyprus, Jordan, and Monaco.
