US President Donald Trump vowed on Tuesday to destroy what remains of Iran if an agreement is not reached.
"We've had good talks with Iran, and it's better to reach an agreement with them than to destroy the rest of the country," Trump told Fox News.
"We could be in the middle of great talks, and then Iran comes along and says we're not talking or that we haven't discussed the nuclear issue," he added.
He reiterated his threat to destroy Iran's military capabilities, saying, "We've taken out Iran's air defenses, and we've taken out a lot of their weapons."
He pointed out that "the location of Jabal al-Fas in Iran is not a big problem. We are in a very strong position against Iran, and I can destroy most of Iran's bridges in less than an hour."
He explained, "If Iran doesn't make a deal with us, I will come back and finish the job. We can't allow Iran to violate agreements anymore."
