Baghdad Governorate suspends official working hours tomorrow at its headquarters.

The Baghdad Governorate announced today, Saturday, that official working hours will be suspended tomorrow at its headquarters.

A statement from the Governorate read: "Based on a majority decision by the Baghdad Provincial Council, the head of the Baghdad Provincial Council, Ammar Farhan al-Hamdani, announced the suspension of official working hours at the Baghdad Provincial Council and the Baghdad Governorate headquarters tomorrow, Sunday, August 2, 2026, on the occasion of the Arba'een commemoration of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)."
