Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr, hinted at the possibility of retiring from football at the end of the current season, revealing that this year "might be my last on the pitch," indicating his desire to spend more time with his family.
In an interview with Vogue magazine, Ronaldo said: "This might be my last year in football, and I want to leave an exceptional legacy."
The Portuguese star confirmed that he is looking forward to spending more time with his family after football, noting that he has already envisioned his post-retirement future.
Ronaldo added: "I have completely planned my future. I have so many things that will keep me busy that it's difficult to mention just one. Because football can leave a huge void, you have to fill your time in different ways, not just with one thing."
The Al-Nassr star continued: "I also want to enjoy myself more, travel more, watch and play padel, which I love very much, and continue to enjoy what I have achieved, what we have achieved. In the end, it has been 25 years filled with many sacrifices."
