The Saudi Ministers of Energy and Finance met with an Iraqi ministerial delegation to discuss supporting energy security and the stability of supplies.
A Saudi statement indicated that "Minister of Energy and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Minister of Finance, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, met in Riyadh on Friday with the Iraqi Ministers of Finance and Oil, Faleh Sari and Basim Mohammed Khudair Al-Abadi."
The statement added that "during the meeting, they discussed topics of mutual interest between the Kingdom and the Republic of Iraq, and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields to serve the common interests of both countries. The two sides also reviewed the latest developments in the region and the efforts being made to support energy security and the stability of supplies."
