The House of Representatives announced its agenda for next Wednesday's session on Monday.
The House of Representatives' media office stated that "Wednesday's session agenda includes voting on the proposed third amendment to the law on compensation for victims who lost body parts as a result of the practices of the former regime, in addition to voting on the proposed first amendment to the law on the National Nuclear, Radiological, and Chemical Biological Regulatory Authority, the draft law regulating renewable energy, and the draft law on mental health."
It added that "the agenda will include voting on the draft law ratifying the agreement on the encouragement and mutual protection of investments between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."
She explained that "the session will also include voting on the draft law on the Republic of Iraq's accession to the Convention on International Exhibitions signed in Paris in 1928, supplemented by the protocols of 1948, 1966, 1972, and their amendments of 1982 and 1988. It will also include voting on the draft law amending the Fourth Amendment to the Industrial Investment Law for the Private and Mixed Sectors No. (20) of 1998, voting on the draft law amending the First Amendment to the Civil Defense Law No. (44) of 2013, and voting on the draft law on the right to access information." She stated that "the agenda will also include voting on the proposed law regulating the trade union organization of workers and craft employees, and voting on the draft law regulating the rights of the victims of Ibn al-Khatib Hospital, the victims of the al-Naqa Center, and the victims of the al-Hamdaniya incident."
