The Iraqi Artists Syndicate mourned the passing of artist Ayad Al-Taie today, Friday, due to a terminal illness.
The Syndicate said in a statement, "With deep sadness and sorrow, the Artists Syndicate mourns the passing of artist Ayad Al-Taie, who passed away today due to a terminal illness."
The statement added, "The late artist Ayad Al-Taie was a distinguished Iraqi actor who presented hundreds of distinguished television and theatrical works, as well as distinguished works in the star-studded cultural arena. He was a member of the Iraqi Artists Syndicate and a member of the National Acting Troupe in the Cinema and Theater Department, and represented Iraq in numerous international forums."
