Authorities at Munich Airport in Germany closed its runways Friday evening for the second time in less than 24 hours, after the pilot of a grounded flight reported that drones had been spotted.
The pilot of a flight to London told passengers that police helicopters were in the air.
It was unclear whether the flight would depart later Friday evening.
An airport police spokesman said both runways in Munich were closed, but the reason for the closure was not immediately clear.
